Volunteer Opportunities:
- Volunteers needed to distribute lunches in downtown Toledo every Saturday morning. We meet at 316 Adams Street, Toledo, OH. We do this 52 weeks a year, rain or shine and we could always use more volunteers!
Mission:
Food For Thought began when a group of people came together with a common passion for feeding the hungry. We started by making 50 peanut butter and jelly lunches per week and distributing them downtown, every Saturday. Our intention was to use food as a vehicle to build relationship and form a true connection between those serving and those whom we serve. We now operate 25+ mobile pantries in the Toledo area.
