Volunteer Opportunities:

United Way of Greater Toledo is looking for volunteers for our Free Tax Prep Program. By becoming a tax preparer you have the opportunity to help low-to-moderate income individuals stand on their own. This free service helps bring dollars back to our community. Not only does it do that, but it provides strong professional development for volunteers. Without the help of volunteers this program would not be possible. United Way of Greater Toledo is looking to recruit 100 new volunteers in Lucas, Wood, and Ottawa counties. Volunteer positions needed include, greeter, data entry, and tax filing.
No tax filing experience is necessary. There will be free training sessions for volunteers beginning on November 2, 2016.
