Volunteer Opportunities:

Donation Collection: Advent Lutheran Center will be a collection site for non–perishable food, personal care and basic household items. These donations will support clients and residents of both agencies at our various locations. LHM is also seeking donations of empty toner (laser) cartridges and inkjet printer cartridges. Clients will be recycling the cartridges to help raise funds for the program as well as aid in recycling efforts.

Office Assistant : LSS is seeking an assistant to the receptionist to answer phones, greet people who walk in, come for appointments or meetings and events. Individuals must be able to relate with the public, have good interpersonal skills, good telephone technique, understand and maintain confidentiality, be able to follow agency guidelines including a drug screening and background check, have the ability to work as a team member, and work as an office support team member.

Bible Study Leaders: Individuals or groups are needed to assist in leading monthly Bible study in the Advent chapel.

Talents : Arts & Crafts, Musical, Bingo, Share your Culture : Do you have a talent to share? We are looking for individuals or groups who would be willing to plan or assist in arts and crafts sessions, perform musically, host a bingo game, and share their culture or travels.

Pet Visitors: Consider the opportunity to share your pet’s love with others. Therapy dogs to guinea pigs to mini horses, we welcome a variety of pet visitors.
