Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Childcare – kindness is needed as you interact with the children of the Pregnancy Center’s clients. Childcare from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each Monday night. Contact: Pat Brainard.
2. Administrator – help organize classes, scheduling food, special speakers, attend classes during the six-week period to keep everything running smoothly. Required: patience, love for people, the ability to multi-task. Contact: Pat Brainard.
3. Boutique Clerk – interact with clients who are shopping at the boutique. Contact: Pat Brainard.
4. Welcome Desk – you will be the first smiling face people will see. The commitment is a 2 ½ hour shift for a minimum of six weeks, Monday evenings from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
5. Class Facilitators – the opportunity requires a love for Jesus and His people, participating in a one-day training session, volunteering a 2-3 hour shift each Monday night for a minimum of six weeks in a row. This will be entirely working with pregnant women at different stages of their pregnancy.
6. Facilitator for Men’s class – many of the sessions use a DVD for teaching and the facilitators are asked to help create discussion in creative ways to implement the lessons in everyday life. Commitment is 2-3 hour shift Monday nights for a minimum of six weeks in a row.
7. Facilitator for Parenting Class – Facilitate a six-week class using primarily DVDs for teaching and helping to create discussion in creative ways to implement lessons in everyday life. Commitment for one-day training, 2-3 hour shift each Monday night for a minimum of six weeks in a row.
8. Facilitator for Women’s Bible Study – Facilitate a six-week class using primarily DVDs for teaching and helping to create discussion in creative ways to implement lessons in everyday life. Commitment for one-day training, 2-3 hour shift each Monday night for a minimum of six weeks in a row.
9. Facilitator for Men’s Bible Study – Facilitate a six-week class using primarily DVDs for teaching and helping to create discussion in creative ways to implement lessons in everyday life. Commitment for one-day training, 2-3 hour shift each Monday night for a minimum of six weeks in a row.
10. Boutique Organizer – this requires somebody who is an organizer to maintain our beautiful baby boutique.
11. Cleaning/Data Entry/Maintenance – All essential tasks needed to keep The Pregnancy Center up and running.
12. Pregnancy on-campus student volunteer – this opportunity requires networking in the community, organizing events, becoming a student advocate
13. Abortion Recovery Facilitator – guide participants through an eight week journey of healing and forgiveness.

We can help you sort through your feelings, answer your questions, and give you information so you can find a solution that’s right for you.
With over 1,200 abortions taking place in Lucas County each year, your help is vital to saving lives. Be a part of the fight for life. Make an impact for Christ in our community. Take a stand against abortion and help women in need. We need passionate people to spread awareness about abortion in the Greater Toledo area, and then raise money to stop it in our community.
